Provide regional leadership for key compliance areas, including Legionella and Asbestos, ensuring robust control measures and clear expectations. Oversee Authorised Person (AP) coverage across technical disciplines, ensuring competence, consistency, and effective governance. Maintain and assure compliance registers (e.g., FGAS), ensuring accuracy and alignment with statutory requirements. Offer expert technical guidance on statutory regulations, industry standards, and best practice. Support project delivery teams by providing technical insight, interpretation of standards, and subject matter expertise. Monitor and assure that competent personnel are in place and that compliance plans are delivered effectively. Ensure site drawings are kept up to date using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software; existing qualifications are highly desirable, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities:

You will bring:

  • Experience in one or more compliance areas such as fire safety, electrical, DSEAR, fuels, or gas.
  • A strong understanding of building services and statutory regulations (e.g., SFG20, CDM, Fire Safety, Gas Safety).
  • Health & Safety knowledge at IOSH Managing Safely level or above.
  • Confident IT skills, ideally with experience using CAFM and CAD systems.
  • A quality-driven mindset with experience in assurance or compliance oversight.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
