Landmarc Support Services currently have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Operations Room Administrator to join our team at Longmoor Camp. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support, establishing and maintaining a "Safe Place to Train" for military and other users on Training Estate. If you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy meaningful work, we want to hear from you.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure a "Safe Place" environment for military training and estate users
- Provide administrative support and manage radio and telephone communications
- Maintain accurate records and follow structured processes
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, operational protocols and incident management
- Use bespoke software and Microsoft Office tools for operational tasks
- Handle stakeholder communications professionally, even under pressure
- Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation, ensuring operational coverage around the clock including On-call Rota
Qualifications
- Working as part of a small high-performing team within a 24/7 (12hr) day/night shift pattern
- Experienced in admin or support roles, with strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with various software tools
- Demonstrates energy, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to tasks and the business
- Places a high priority on health and safety and maintaining a safe environment
- Comfortable working in a dynamic office environment with diverse and changing responsibilities
Essential Criteria
- Knowledge of mapping and grid referencing
- Holds a valid UK driving licence (due to location)
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of military based protocols including mapping and communications
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures
- Experienced in using radios and military radio protocols

Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets. By joining Landmarc you will be supporting our vision to provide the best training experience we can for our Armed Forces.
Shift Schedule
The schedule runs on a 10-week cycle. Each cycle includes:
- 2 day shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
- 2 night shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- 4 days off
This is followed by a 14-day flexible working period, during which you'll be scheduled for 7 shifts. This cycle takes place approximately every 8 weeks. Shifts can fall on weekends and public holidays.
