Landmarc Support Services is looking for a proactive and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our friendly team at Longmoor Camp. This is a hands-on, varied role where you will play a key part in keeping our Training Estate running smoothly and ensuring our Armed Forces have a clean, safe and well-maintained environment while they train.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning offices, communal areas and accommodation blocks, including ablutions and shower facilities
- Carrying out general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Supporting accommodation handover and handback processes
- Assisting with general building maintenance
- Performing basic grounds maintenance
- Managing stock levels and replenishing supplies
- Completing documentation using both IT systems and paper-based processes
- Supporting the wider team with any additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- No previous experience is required, just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to take pride in your work.
- General housekeeping or caretaking knowledge
- Understanding of basic Health & Safety procedures
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Ability to work to objectives and take pride in delivering a great service
- Confidence using basic grounds maintenance equipment
- Ability to complete documentation accurately
- Basic IT skills and confidence using a tablet
- A valid UK driving licence is essential due to the rural location
