Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative (Main Towers Assistant) to join our dedicated team.
In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military.

- Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:15, Friday 08:00 - 12:00

- What You’ll Do
- General & Grounds maintenance duties as required.
- General Opening Up Duties (Keys, Flags, Notices)
- Operation of basic IT Systems
- Face to face, Radio & Telephone Communication.
- Management of Range Booking Procedures (Email, Telephone, Paper & Electronic Booking records)
- Recording basic information via IT and in written format.
- Meteorological Observations (Full Training Given).
- General Range Safety Observation duties.
Essential
- What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work as part of a team in a safety critical environment.
- An ability and willingness to learn new skills.
- Good communication skills Face to Face, Telephone and Radio.
- Competent in the taking in and recording verbally given information.
- Basic IT skills
- Numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE and above).
- A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
Desirable
- Experience in working as part of a team.
- Experience in Meteorological Observations (desirable but not essential)
- Experience in Communication / Reception duties
- Experience in General & Grounds Maintenance duties
