Landmarc Support Services is currently recruiting a Part-Time Site Operative to join our dedicated team. This flexible role is ideal for someone looking to balance work with other responsibilities, whether that's childcare, study, or other commitments. You'll play an important part in maintaining the Training Estate facilities, helping to create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for our Armed Forces while they train.
Typical tasks include:
- Cleaning accommodation blocks
- Supporting the upkeep of grounds and buildings
No previous experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We provide full training, great benefits, and opportunities to grow your career at your own pace.
Shifts: Mon: 08:00-14:00, Tue: 08:00-14:00, Fri: 08:00 - 12:00
Hours of work: 16 hrs. per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Landmarcβs Wretham Camp, East Wretham, Thetford, Norfolk, IP24 1QU
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose
- Cleaning of the facilities and accommodation blocks
- General building maintenance
- Basic grounds maintenance
- Operation and maintenance of plant equipment (training will be provided)
- Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment
- Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
- Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
- Flexibility to support at sites across Stanford Training Area (STANTA) when required
The Ideal Candidate:
- General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
- Understanding of Health and Safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete documentation
- Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
- UK Driving Licence required for use of work vehicles to complete tasks across STANTA
