Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team.In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Shifts run between:08:00 – 16:00 from Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday\’s)
Hours of work: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed Term – 10 Months
Location:Otterburn Training Camp, Otterburn, Northumberland, (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) NE19 1NX
Interviews to be held between: Wednesday 16th – Thursday 17th July
Main Responsibilities
- Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
- Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- General building maintenance
- Basic grounds maintenance
- Stock management tasks
- Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
- Carry out any other additional requirements as needed

- General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
- Working within a team and a good team player
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete documentation
- Basic IT skillswith ability to use a tablet
