Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team.In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Shifts run between:07:30 – 17:00 from Monday to Sunday.

Hours of work: 37 per week

Contract:Permanent

Annual Allowances: £1,127.50 for working weekends

Location:Swynnerton Training Camp, Swynnerton, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 0QN

Main Responsibilities

  • Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
  • Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • General low level building maintenance
  • Basic low level grounds maintenance
  • Stock management tasks
  • Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
  • Carry out any other additional requirements as needed

The Ideal Candidate

  • General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety such as COSH, Manual Handling and Safe Systems of Work
  • Knowledge of stock control systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete documentation
  • Basic IT skillswith ability to use a tablet
  • Ability to work on a diverse multi-skilled team environment
  • Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)
