We\’re seeking a reliable and safety-focused professional to deliver excellent asset management, building maintenance, and equipment upkeep. From plumbing systems to electrical fixes, your work will help ensure operational readiness, compliance, and safety, while meeting performance standards that truly matter.

Location: RAF Spadeadam, Gilsland, Brampton, Cumbria, CA8 7AT

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on assets, buildings, and equipment
  • Carry out repairs and inspections across heating, plumbing, electrical, and FM systems
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety protocols including risk assessments and method statements
  • Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and asset users to ensure smooth site delivery
  • Maintain all documentation (digital and paper-based) accurately
  • Accept responsibility from an Authorised Person (AP) for safe systems of work
  • Work safely in high-risk areas including confined spaces or at height
  • Participate in the on-call rota when required

Essential Experience:

  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and/or Electrical
  • Domestic or commercial oil or gas qualification
  • Hot and Cold-water services
  • Understanding of MTHW/LTHW boiler systems
  • Knowledge of COSHH, manual handling & safe systems of work
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Basic electrical knowledge for fault finding and diagnostics

Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges, and delivering multi-million-pound projects to improve vital training assets.
