Landmarc Support Services are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to provide essential administrative and logistical support for contract delivery. Primarily your role will be focussed on Salisbury Plain Training Area, but you will also be the single point of contact between Client and Landmarc staff across the Region, where we have a network of other staff who deal with logistical matters on other Camps.
This role includes managing inventory systems, fuel and lubricant accounts, vehicle scheduling, and ensuring compliance with MOD standards as well as stores management. You will be supported by a management chain and other SMEs in the business including training where required.
Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS
Permanent Role: Enjoy the stability of a full-time, permanent position with 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage inventory using MJDI, including ordering, receipt, and stock management of Fuels, Lubricants, and Industrial Gases (FLIG)
- Oversee Mechanical Transport Fuel Installation (MTFI) operations, including monitoring the Eric system
- Conduct FLIG assurance checks, such as tank dip testing and reconciliation
- Manage and maintain all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in line with MOD policies
- Provide logistical assurance and compliance reporting
The Ideal Candidate
Essential requirements:
- Knowledge of MOD standards and procedures (e.g., JSP 317)
- Knowledge of Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI)
- Completed Ground Fuel Management System Course (MTFI)
- Proficient in office administration and software (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in logistics and inventory management
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across a number of different stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
