Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include:
- Cleaning accommodation blocks
- Maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train
Shifts run between: 08:00 - 16:30 from Monday to Sunday. Hours of work: 37 per week. Contract: Fixed Term - 12 Months. Annual Allowances: £1,127.50 for working weekends.
Main Responsibilities
- Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
- Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- General building maintenance
- Basic grounds maintenance
- Stock management tasks
- Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
- Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
The Ideal Candidate
- General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete documentation
- Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
- Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)
