12 month fixed term contract Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of Training Estate facilities.

Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, offices, and communal areas to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for our Armed Forces personnel while they train.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the general cleanliness of the camp and ensuring facilities are fit for purpose.
  • Cleaning offices, communal facilities, and accommodation blocks, including ablutions and shower blocks.
  • Carrying out general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
  • Managing and replenishing cleaning supplies and stock as required.
  • Completing relevant documentation using both IT and paper-based systems.
  • Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Undertaking any other cleaning-related duties as required.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • General housekeeping or cleaning experience and knowledge.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to complete basic documentation accurately.
  • Basic IT skills, including the ability to use a tablet.
  • Holds a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of the site (essential).
  • Some weekend work will be required.
