A vital role supporting the UK Defence Training Estate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support facilities teams and supervisors, allocating work and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure facilities are available and compliant through inspections, planning and oversight of PPM and reactive tasks.
  • Manage accommodation, waste, stores, grounds maintenance and cleaning services.
  • Liaise with customers, Employer representatives and technical specialists.
  • Manage contractors and oversee handover and take back of facilities.
  • Complete risk assessments, method statements and required documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency and added value.

Qualifications

  • Strong Health & Safety knowledge (COSHH, risk assessments, safe systems of work - IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).
  • Experience managing facilities, services or estates in an operational environment.
  • Strong communication, organisation and workforce planning skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, contractors and multiple priorities.
  • Confident IT skills.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to pass BPSS security clearance.
  • 5 years UK residency.
