Job Overview
Job Introduction Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train. Landmarc offers excellent career progression and great benefits. No previous experience needed, just a great can do attitude! Shifts run between: Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 16:00, Fri 08:00-15:30. Hours of work: 37 per week. Contract: Permanent. Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS.

Responsibilities
- Looking after the camp’s general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
- Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- General building maintenance
- Stock management tasks
- Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
- Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
The Ideal Candidate
- General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete documentation
- Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
- Driving licence is preferred as some travel will be required across Salisbury Plain
