Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, with typical tasks including basic maintenance such as legionella checks, fire door inspections, and escorting contractors to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Shifts run between: 08:00 - 16:30 from Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)

Hours of work: 37 per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: RAF Spadeadam, Gilsland, Brampton, Cumbria, CA8 7AT

Interviews to be held between: Monday 2nd - Tuesday 3rd March

Main Responsibilities

  • Looking after the camp’s general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
  • Carrying out inspections on Fire Doors, Plant Rooms, Emergency Lights and Tanks
  • Legionella testing
  • General building and grounds maintenance
  • Operation and maintenance of plant equipment (training will be provided)
  • Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment
  • Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper-based systems
  • Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
