Overview

Landmarc Solutions is recruiting an Area Delivery Manager – Operations to lead operations across Castlemartin and surrounding sites including Pembrey, Templeton, Manobier, and Penally. This high-profile leadership role oversees a team of 75 staff, including six direct reports, and manages complex, multi-site facilities and rural estate services. Landmarc is a joint venture between Mitie and Amentum, delivering vital support to the UK Defence Training Estate in partnership with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage area operations teams delivering hard and soft Facilities Management services
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and safety requirements
  • Oversee training areas, accommodation, waste, stores, and maintenance
  • Support construction and conservation projects
  • Build strong relationships with DIO, military stakeholders, and the public
  • Deputise for the Regional Operations Manager when required

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Facilities Management or equivalent experience
  • Have managed or currently managing a large multi-disciplinary team in the last 12 months
  • Professional membership (e.g. IWFM) desirable
  • Proven leadership in multi-site operations and service delivery
  • Strong knowledge of hard and soft Facilities Management services
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and service level agreements
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team leader
