What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing cost‑effective mechanical design solutions for integration into our product range.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate component and technical data throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Building, testing, and evaluating prototypes to verify performance and design intent.
  • Working closely with experienced senior mechanical design engineers to learn, develop, and refine engineering skills.
  • Supporting activities related to product approvals, manufacturing equipment issues, and fault diagnostics, including quality cases and production challenges.
  • Participating in peer design reviews to ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Creating mechanical designs for products and custom manufacturing equipment that meet all required standards and regulations.
  • Developing designs based on product specifications or written instructions as part of a project team.
  • Producing design documents, test specifications, and related technical information.
  • Selecting suitable materials and components and supporting their approval process.
  • Taking part in design reviews to help ensure strong, reliable solutions.
  • Building and testing prototypes using 3D printing, machining, and other methods.
  • Working to company procedures and ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Creating detailed parts, assemblies, and drawings using 3D CAD tools.
  • Carrying out additional tasks as needed to support the business.
