The Aspire Federation has four sites based in Hindley Green, Bryn, Abram and Leigh. Whilst the post will initially be based at one site, the post holder may be required to work across all of the federated sites.

We are looking to appoint full-time, dynamic, inspirational, energetic and creative Class Teachers. Successful candidates will have evidence of outstanding classroom practice and be able to prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons. They will develop positive relationships, inspire and motivate learners and enhance the learning experience.

At the Aspire Federation, we offer a targeted and comprehensive Professional Development Programme for all staff, including ECTs, and welcome applications from teachers with experience in SEND and subject specialisms.

Landgate School is a school for learners aged 4‑19 with autism and/or communication and interaction conditions. It is a small school with huge impact, dedicated to improving outcomes for learners and their families in the Wigan borough and beyond. We demonstrate extraordinary dedication, outward thinking and inspirational teaching, learning and sensory practice. Our mission is ‘Bringing Learning to Life’ through readiness and engagement for learning and targeted, purposeful and innovative learning opportunities. Learners are encouraged to become confident, happy, independent young adults and valued members of the wider community.
