Our client are a prominent supplier of pharmaceutical & FMCG products, due to team expansion, they are currently seeking a Buying Manager to join their team based in Leicester. Hybrid working will be available, but candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office in Leicester. £40,000 - £50,000 D.O.E
The Role
- Negotiate pricing and terms with both new and existing suppliers
- Source new product lines
- Manage stock and inventory
- Demand planning
- Stock forecasting
- Source new suppliers from the UK & overseas
The Candidate
- Previous buying experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals or product based wholesale
- CIPS would be desirable but is not essential
- 3 years + experience in buying
- Confident in running of a buying department
- Mathematically competent
- Fully computer literate and proficient in excel
