Our client is a World leader in the manufacture and distribution of DIY & Trade products; they currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team in the South of England.
The Role
- You’ll play a crucial role within the sales team, liaising with merchants at branch level and communicating orders and information to the National Accounts and Field Sales teams.
- Identify & develop opportunities within builder’s merchant chains (branch level).
- Support sales & merchandising teams to maximise opportunities and product coverage.
- Support product visibility and availability.
- Call on branches on a regular call-cycle basis.
- Represent the organisation at trade fairs, events and forums.
The Candidate
- Proven field sales experience.
- Key track record of success.
- Previous experience working at merchant level – Jewsons, Huws Gray, Selco.
- Previous experience within the buying groups – NMBS, Fortis etc.
- Full UK Drivers license.
In Return? £40,000 - £45,000 D.O.E + 50% bonus + car allowance - £7200 + pension + private healthcare + benefits.
