This role provides proactive and reactive support to mortgage broker partners, acting as the first point of contact for inbound broker queries while driving outbound activity to support pipeline conversion, broker engagement, and BDM productivity. The role is critical in strengthening broker relationships, accelerating case progression, and expanding broker activation across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute towards a centre of excellence for first line broker support: triaging and resolving queries effectively across multiple platforms on a variety of matters.
  • Handle inbound queries including phone, live chat box and emails, regarding case updates, criteria support, platform access and SLA chases, providing clear, accurate and timely information.
  • Onboard and own new broker registrations, ensuring successful first-case engagement while also re-engaging dormant brokers to generate business.
  • Promote and follow up on broker attendance for events, webinars and roadshows.
  • Monitor and track DIPs, applications and completions and communicate timely case updates.
  • Deliver to a set of clear KPIs and deliver genuine value to the BDMs they support and contribute to regional target.
  • Cover as the regional support buddy to 2-3 field-based BDMs.
  • Contribute to pipeline conversion by conducting structured outbound calls to progress outstanding DIPs/docs and move brokers to full application and drive retention activity.
  • Gather market and competitor intelligence through broker conversations; share insights with Sales & Marketing.
  • Ensure all broker interactions, case updates and outbound activities are accurately recorded in the CRM and internal systems.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality service ensuring accuracy, professionalism and compliance.
  • Identify potential risks, errors, or complaints and elevate appropriately.
  • Contribute and share ideas to improve ways of working.

  • Experience in sales support, tele-sales, customer service, or mortgage broker support.
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone manner.
  • Ability to deliver to set KPIs and targets.
  • Ability to manage a busy inbox, prioritise work, and meet SLAs.
  • Confidence engaging with external partners and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in logging/processing information.
  • Data minded with the ability to translate data to produce ideas/results.
  • Knowledge of mortgage intermediary market or financial services.
  • CRM and telephony system experience.
  • Familiarity with pipeline management and outbound sales processes.

Location & Logistics

The position is based in Victoria, central London, reporting to the Telephone Sales Manager. The role is a hybrid working role which will require 3 days in the office with the ability to work from home up to 2 days weekly.
