We have an exciting opportunity for a Tutor to join Landau. In this role, you will deliver vibrant and engaging learning to small groups of learners across Landau’s Education programmes. Using creative and inclusive approaches, you will teach Functional Skills English and Maths, PSD and Employability qualifications from Entry Level to Level 2, and GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3. You will support learners to build confidence, develop essential skills and make meaningful progress towards their goals and aspirations.
You will:
- Design, develop and deliver high-quality, inclusive programmes that meet the needs of all learners, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Support recruitment activities, including initial assessments, taster sessions and learner induction.
- Enable learners to achieve accredited qualifications including ASDAN Employability, PSD, Functional Skills English and Maths, and GCSEs.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions and learning resources aligned to qualification requirements.
- Assess learner needs through diagnostic assessment and regular progress reviews, including monitoring outcomes for learners with EHCPs and contributing to review meetings.
- Manage and deploy Learning Support Assistants effectively to support individual learner needs and statutory requirements.
- Promote learners’ personal, social and emotional development, encouraging confidence, positive behaviour, attendance and engagement.
- Prepare learners for external assessments through effective assessment for learning, marking, monitoring and feedback.
- Complete all required course administration, quality assurance, internal verification and moderation activities accurately and on time.
- Deliver enrichment activities, tutorials and high-quality information, advice and guidance (IAG), including supporting work placements in collaboration with the Project Coordinator.
- Maintain accurate learner records and keep management informed of progress, attendance and outcomes.
- Provide appropriate pastoral support and champion safeguarding, equality, British values and Prevent duties.
- Participate in quality monitoring, observations, self-evaluation and continuous improvement activities.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective practice as part of a motivated delivery team.

Hours: 20.5 hours per week. This is a Term Time Only position working 39 weeks per year.
Salary: £12,959.23 – £15,949.82 (£27,300 - £33,600 FTE) Depending on Experience.
