Penguin Recruitment - Norwich - Graduate Pre-Planning Engineer
We are looking to recruit a graduate civil engineer who is highly motivated to undertake the role of a Pre-Planning Engineer in a diverse project environment for our client based in Norwich.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing reports such as Transport Assessments, Flood Risk Assessments, and Drainage Strategies.
- Reviewing and analyzing traffic counts.
- Undertaking junction assessments and drainage designs.
- Training on software will be provided (Microdrainage, Site 3D, Autocad, Junctions 9, and LinSig).
- Developing the ability to run projects under supervision, producing calculations, sketches, and coordinating drawings and models.
Experience working in a 3-dimensional environment is preferred. Excellent IT skills are essential.
Candidates should have a recognized qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field, ideally working towards or interested in working towards EngTech or IEng/CEng with relevant experience.
