We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support a nuclear project in Reading on a short-term basis. The role will cover the full project lifecycle, from initial kick-off through to final completion, ensuring all quality assurance requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements
- Carry out quality control inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs)
- Conduct final release inspections
- Witness testing activities as required
- Attend and contribute to relevant project and quality meetings
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a nuclear or highly regulated environment
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes
- SC Security Clearance is required
