We are seeking an Aftermarket Service Manager with a solid engineering background to lead the aftermarket site service team to ensure that site service activities are sold, planned and executed to meet our customers’ expectations and requirements. This role involves:

  • Management of the site service team.
  • Technical support, site surveys, estimating and quoting for site based inspection, maintenance & upgrade projects.
  • Project planning, method statements, risk assessments and management of site based contracts.
  • Being the primary point of contact for the customer, suppliers and site service personnel.

The candidate must have a solid grasp of the dynamics and workflows of industrial process installations and construction / maintenance projects. The role is office based but will require site visits in the UK and abroad (including Offshore) from time to time. The successful candidate must therefore be willing to undertake the pre-requisite training and travel offshore where this is required.

Qualifications:

  • ONC / Level 3 Qualification (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or closely related field).
  • A similar role within an engineering business, ideally having worked within the Power Generation/Oil & Gas sectors.
  • A solid grasp of the dynamics and workflows of industrial installation projects.
  • Equipment, tools, and processes used in engineering construction sites.
  • Managing and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on active industrial process and construction sites.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and protocols specific to industrial environments.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges encountered during industrial installation / retrofit / maintenance projects.
