Land and Sea Resources are currently recruiting for a Senior PGC Rotating Equipment Engineer to join the engineering team based in Barrow-in-Furness on a 2-year contract. The Senior PGC Rotating Equipment Engineer will provide specialist rotating equipment engineering support to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Morecambe Hub Product Gas Compressors (PGCs). The role will work closely with operations, maintenance, reliability, integrity, projects, contractors, and vendors to optimise equipment performance and maintain high standards of safety and asset integrity. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior PGC Rotating Equipment Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry, particularly in reciprocating gas engines and compressors.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing rotating equipment engineering support to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Morecambe Hub PGCs.
- Supporting and optimising preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams.
- Troubleshooting rotating equipment issues, carrying out root cause analysis.
