We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist / Site Support Temp to join a professional corporate office environment in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to provide a friendly, professional and welcoming service to visitors, employees and clients, while also supporting the wider site with general office and meeting room duties.
The office is located approximately 5 minutes' walk from Leeds train station, making it easily accessible by public transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Working as a Receptionist, greeting visitors and providing a professional front-of-house service.
- Signing visitors in and issuing daily visitor passes.
- Acting as the first point of contact as a Receptionist for guests and visitors.
- Preparing and serving refreshments for meetings and visitors.
- Setting up and rearranging meeting rooms.
- Carrying out light manual handling duties.
- Handling incoming and outgoing post efficiently and securely.
- Supporting the wider site team with general duties as required.
- Maintaining a professional, welcoming and organised reception area.
- Providing reliable Receptionist support throughout the working day.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous Receptionist or Front of House experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Experience working as a Receptionist and dealing confidently with visitors and clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, professional and approachable manner.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A reliable and punctual approach to work.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of site duties.
- The ability to carry out light physical tasks.
- The flexibility to work either 8:00am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:30pm, depending on business requirements.
- Clearance Requirements
Due to the nature of the site, the successful candidate will be required to obtain BS clearance prior to starting.
This will require
- A basic DBS check, which the candidate will need to apply for themselves.
- A full 5-year employment history.
- Any employment gaps to be supported by a professional or character reference.
