About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hub Support Manager to join our Operations team based in Barrow-in-Furness.
This is a key leadership role responsible for coordinating and integrating operational support functions across our onshore and offshore assets, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of operations.
As the central point of coordination for the hub, you will lead the planning function, oversee logistics and materials coordination, and work collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain and Projects to ensure activities are effectively prioritised, planned and executed.
You will play a critical role in improving operational performance, removing barriers to execution, supporting production recovery during unplanned events and providing leadership cover for key operational roles, including Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), where required.
Key Responsibilities
As Hub Support Manager, you will
- Lead the integrated planning function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality 28-day, 3-month and long-term operational plans.
- Coordinate operational activities across onshore and offshore teams to ensure alignment of priorities and efficient execution.
- Manage hub logistics and materials coordination to ensure the timely availability of personnel, equipment and critical resources.
- Drive execution readiness by ensuring work is fully prepared, risks are understood and barriers to delivery are proactively removed.
- Coordinate simultaneous operations (SIMOPS), identifying conflicts and ensuring activities are safely integrated.
- Lead cross-functional operational recovery activities during unplanned events, minimising downtime and restoring production safely and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project teams to ensure effective communication and delivery.
- Monitor planning, logistics and operational performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ensure risks associated with planning, logistics and execution are effectively identified, managed and communicated.
- Support the Operations Director, Operations Manager and Offshore Installation Managers in delivering safe, reliable and efficient asset performance.
- Provide competent leadership cover for key operational positions, including OIM, when required.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

You are an experienced operational leader with a strong background in offshore or energy operations.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in planning, operations, logistics or operational coordination within the oil and gas or wider energy sector.
- Strong understanding of integrated planning and work management processes.
- Experience coordinating maintenance, operations and engineering activities.
- Knowledge of logistics, materials management and supply chain processes.
- Understanding of Control of Work (Co W) and SIMOPS management.
- Experience using planning systems such as SAP, Primavera or equivalent.
- Ability to analyse operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams in both onshore and offshore environments.
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant operational experience.
- Relevant offshore operational experience within the energy sector.
Desirable
- Experience working across both offshore and onshore operations.
- Current Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) competency.
- BOSEIT certification and other relevant offshore training.
