About the Role
Spirit Energy is seeking an experienced Logistics & Materials Lead to join their Supply Chain team, based in either Barrow-in-Furness or Aberdeen.
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate logistics and materials activities, ensuring the efficient planning, availability and movement of materials and equipment to support operational and maintenance requirements.
The two-year contract will support Spirit Energy's new organisational structure, due to go live from 1 October 2026, and aligns with the planned cessation of production at the Morecambe Hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead logistics and materials management activities across the business.
- Coordinate the planning and movement of materials and equipment.
- Manage inventory, stock availability and materials planning.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
- Coordinate logistics across onshore and offshore locations.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available to meet operational requirements.
About You
- Proven experience in Logistics, Materials Management or Supply Chain.
- Experience within the oil and gas, energy or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of materials planning, inventory and logistics processes.
- Experience working with suppliers and multiple internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
