We're looking for an experienced Head of HR to join a forward-thinking organisation where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping people strategy, developing leadership capability and supporting business success.
What You'll Be Doing
As Head of HR, you'll be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic HR guidance while coaching and developing managers to build confident, capable teams.
Your responsibilities will include
β Partnering with leaders to develop people strategies that support business objectives. β Coaching managers on leadership, employee relations, performance management and talent development. β Leading complex employee relations cases, investigations and organisational change initiatives. β Driving annual HR programmes including performance reviews, reward processes and workforce planning. β Supporting succession planning and talent management to build future capability. β Ensuring HR policies, procedures and employment legislation are applied consistently. β Managing recruitment and external resourcing partnerships. β Working collaboratively across the business to foster a high-performing, inclusive culture. β Supporting compliance, governance and audit requirements. β Contributing to business planning, budgeting and strategic organisational development.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from HR professionals who have
- Significant experience in a senior HR Business Partner or Head of HR role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience coaching and influencing senior managers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to align people strategy with business objectives.
- Experience managing organisational change, employee relations and performance management.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
