Job Title: Site Supervisor

Location: Birmingham (Complete Onsite)

Duration: 9 months+ contract

Discipline: Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Field Instrumentation, etc.

Important note: This role requires a National Grid authorization with substantial substation experience.

Job Description

Directly supervise and coordinate the work of internal and external resources and equipment technical specialists during on-site installation/construction activities related to the assigned discipline to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of employees in the execution of tasks for an assigned area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate appropriate work assignments for the assigned area.
  • Typically responsible for performance reviews for team members.
  • Site planning, site coordination and monitoring.
  • Stakeholder relations, health, safety and environment (HSE) and project security.
  • Management of subcontractors and site cost.
  • Documentation and records management.
  • People leadership and development.
