The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Assistant to support the HVDC Engineering team in the UK. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize team meetings, events, and maintain accurate minutes of meetings
- Coordinate travel arrangements for team members
- Support planning and coordination of internal and external training sessions
- Prepare and maintain team dashboards and reports
- Manage procurement of IT equipment, mobile devices, PPE, and other office needs
- Support onboarding activities for new starters
General Office Administration Support includes: Entering data or performing word processing work in support of local office or function-specific business processes. Coordinating the logistics for office events. Coordinating the logistics for office moves (e.g., moving office furniture, packing files, etc.). Providing back-up support for reception/switchboard or the mailroom.
An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency: Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
