We are looking for a Product Designer to join the XR Tech Design team to help develop innovative, groundbreaking features and experiences that push the boundaries of technology. You will work closely with XFN partners (engineers, QA, product manager) and be part of a team of designers working on virtual experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver design projects of large and/or ambiguous scope
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users
- Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
- Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of products
- Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for quality, while also taking on mentorship
- Lead a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
Desired qualifications:
- Ability to clearly map out application UX flows and create UIs in Figma.
- Speed & being hands-on is paramount. Mocking up 3-4 rough variants of a solution to help reason about the path forward in a day is expected.
- Demonstrated experience with product thinking, ie. you are not simply "handed work to execute".
- Demonstrated experience with systems thinking, ie. you see the complete picture beyond an individual feature, how its dependencies connect etc.
- Some experience with spatial design, ie. game development or XR, is a must have.
