The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with strong C#/.
NET experience to join an established engineering team working on large-scale digital platforms and distributed services.
You will work across backend services, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems and modern full-stack applications, with a mixture of new development, platform enhancements, technical improvements and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and enhance C#/. NET applications, APIs and microservices
- Work with Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Build and support scalable distributed services
- Contribute to both greenfield development and existing platforms
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
- Contribute to monitoring, observability and technical improvements
- Work collaboratively within an established engineering team
- Help reduce technical debt and continuously improve code quality and engineering practices
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with C# / . NET
- Strong experience with APIs and microservices
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or messaging technologies
- Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern development practices
- Ability to work effectively within existing codebases and adapt quickly to new environments
Desirable Experience
- Java
