The Supplier Quality Engineer utilises strong quality and technical skills to develop suppliers and products that can meet customer requirements; requires strong partnerships with the external supply base, with supply chain teams and with engineering to achieve results.
This is an almost fully remote role, on rare occasions the team will be expected to be onsite at the Darlington office. The initial end date is December 2025, there is a possibility for extension.
Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Mainly support Global 7 Activities in Europe Region
- Create and Monitor Source Releases
- Build issues
- Onsite support for build quality issues
- APQP/PPAP Support
- FIRG Support
- Manage and report medium-ZDM components with SQEs
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Either: College, university, or equivalent degree / Time served / H/ONC / HND in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required. Industry specific experience will also be considered in the absence of a degree or formal qualification.
Experience:
Ideally 3-5 years work experience in an SQE role.
