We are looking for a proactive, highly organized Web Production Lead who will oversee the end-to-end production of our corporate web presence. This person will manage all website changes: new projects and pages, serve as the central point for stakeholder requests, own site hygiene and governance, work extensively in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), lead and manage the AEM authoring team, advise on best practices, partner with engineering on component updates, and manage project and ticket workflows via Jira.

The ideal candidate blends strong technical/content production acumen, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of website page changes and new web projects from intake and scoping through build, QA, and publish.
  • Prioritise and coordinate stakeholder requests for website changes, acting as the main point of contact between authors, UX/design, PMs, Content, and Engineering.
  • Oversee site hygiene and governance, ensure AEM content tree and folder structure remain clean and consistent; manage naming conventions, URLs/slugs, metadata digital asset management (DAM) hygiene, component/template usage and retirement.
  • Lead and mentor the AEM authoring team (front-end authors, AEM power-users contributors): define standards, provide training/enablement, promote best practices, hold authors accountable to quality standards, filter feedback for component & authoring enhancements to Engineering.
  • Work with UX/UI/Engineering teams to understand upcoming component/template updates, planned AEM enhancements, and ensure authors are enabled and workflows updated accordingly.
  • Maintain and manage the Jira backlog for web production: create/track incoming tickets/epics, ensure proper triage, estimate, assign, monitor status, escalate blockers, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Enforce and champion best practices around content publishing: quality assurance, accessibility (WCAG, AA), SEO/findability, responsiveness across devices, brand compliance.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI and Analytics teams to feed back authoring/site-production issues (e.g., component limitations, page performance issues, template gaps) to engineering and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and refine production workflows, SLAs, triage procedures, the authoring enablement program (onboarding new authors, training, weekly help authors, knowledge base).
  • Produce regular reports/metrics on site health (e.g., broken links, orphan content, content/stakeholder request volumes, publish velocity, author backlog), and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Support major web initiatives (homepage redesign, brand refreshes, section updates, etc.) by coordinating production resources, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
  • Implement & execute experimentation and personalisation roadmap for website content, pages, and flows (landing pages, product pages, conversion funnels).
  • Own production of experiments across various page types with a cross-functional team.
  • Champion the creative and pioneering use of AI in the web production lifecycle (e.g., using generative content tools to support authors, AI-assisted tagging/meta description generation, component intelligence, workflow automations).
  • Work with engineering and AEM platform teams to embed AI/machine-learning capabilities into the AEM ecosystem supporting intelligent authoring suggestions, template/component health monitoring, automated component retirement, predictive QA or performance alerts.
Required Skills/Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in web production, web content management, or digital project delivery role (preferably in B2B SaaS/enterprise environment).
  • Substantial experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a user/authoring lead; comfortable navigating templates, components, DAM, MSM, multi-site setups.
  • Strong experience managing content production workflows, ticketing/project systems (Jira) and large volumes of web change requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with UX/Content/U/Engineering and Marketing and business stakeholders.
  • Proven team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of web design & publishing best practices: accessibility, SEO, responsive design, when to and when not to go mobile-first, QA.
Desired
  • Experience with large enterprise site ecosystems (multi-site, multi-regional, localized).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and reporting on site production metrics.
  • Basic familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) to diagnose authoring/production issues.
  • Experience driving process improvements and defining production roadmaps.
  • Experience managing AEM enablement/training programs or documentation.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology and sprint/backlogs.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate business needs into clear production tasks.
  • A process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to think strategically about site governance, authoring efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • A growth mindset: eager to experiment, refine production workflows, and elevate the authoring practice across the organization.
