Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site MIG Welder role based in Peterlee. The MIG Welder will interpret engineering drawings and work orders to set up welding equipment, select appropriate materials, and perform MIG welding on components and assemblies. Daily tasks include:

  • Preparing and cleaning metal surfaces
  • Positioning and clamping workpieces
  • Performing welds to required specifications
  • Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy

The role also involves basic maintenance of welding equipment, adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements, and collaboration with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
