Job Overview
Finance Business Partner within the Finance Business Partnering team.
Responsible for supporting the business with financial information, ensuring data quality and consistency, preparing and monitoring forecasts and budgets, performing variance analysis, providing stakeholder reports, and continuously improving service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation, monitoring, and control of forecasts and budgets for specified areas.
- Perform variance analysis and cost monitoring across financial measures and expense categories.
- Provide input to narrative for impact and recovery statements and cost reports with trend analysis.
- Engage with customer budget holders and stakeholders, maintaining effective relationships.
- Deliver clear information and evidence to support business activities, including cost information for business cases.
- Improve service quality by identifying opportunities and prioritising high‑value changes.
- Support development of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and related change requirements.
- Assist in preparing cost studies using historical data and benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, processes, and systems for data integrity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- British Citizen with five years of UK residence (SC clearance) or ten years (DV); dual nationality may be considered.
- Proven experience in finance management, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high‑performance team.
- Health and safety awareness; able to work both remotely and onsite as required.
- Security Clearance: SC (mandatory); DV if required.
