Senior DevOps Engineer required to lead and support the delivery of AWS environments and code deployments produced by the Benefits Supporting Services (BSS) team, creating a DevOps culture and implementing automation best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support delivery of AWS environments and code deployments.
- Create a DevOps culture and implement automation best practices.
- Coach, mentor and support the team, spotting instances where best practices are not being followed and advising on improvements.
- Lead on large pieces of work and share knowledge on environment build and support using automation.
- Support development and test capability within AWS environments.
- Provide DevOps support for legacy benefit systems within Benefit Supporting Services.
Qualifications
- Experience with AWS environments and code deployment.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and automation.
- Ability to coach and mentor a technical team.
- Experience with legacy benefit systems is desirable.
