The mission of the Health Economics Support in the Global Modelling & Evidence Synthesis team is to support team members and potentially lead targeted modelling projects and studies.
This contingent worker (CW) will focus on health economic evidence generation, study management, publication support, strategic and external engagement support.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing technical support for numerous modelling projects, such as proposal formulation, debugging, model updates, and responding to ad hoc analysis or requests, supporting model adaptations.
- Supporting publication efforts and external engagements with HTA bodies, NITAGs, public health institutions, other health authorities, or external experts.
- Creating country support materials such as modelling tools, value dossiers, slide decks, and webinars, ensuring model quality control and validation, and organizing webinars and training sessions on specific modelling topics.
The ideal candidate should be able to pivot to business needs, be scientifically rigorous, and delivery focused. The ideal candidate is a Health Economist with over 5 years of experience, strong capabilities in health economic modelling, a robust publication record, and experience with developing Excel-based health economic models (including macros). Programming in R/Matlab is desirable.
