We are looking for embed individuals into the DTW core team providing Architecture, Software, Data, Targeting, Legal, Policy, Targeting and Standards experience to assist with cohering the delivery of the Digital Targeting Web, through a blend of stakeholder engagement, use case identification, designing and prototyping. They will become part of the DTW Core team that focuses on the importance of a user‑centric approach, bridging the gap between the complex world of targeting and the day‑to‑day strategic imperatives of Defence, ensuring that defences capabilities are harnessed in a way that drives tangible value and innovation. The DTW core team addresses technical and delivery services across defence, working closely with stakeholders across the Military Commands and our allies to bring the Digital Targeting Web to life.
The types of activities they are undertaking include, but are not limited to:
- Aligning Data Standards across defence for Targeting
- Setting integration standards for targeting platforms and applications for Targeting
- Owning the defence Targeting Design Authority
- Aligning in‑flight and existing capability programmes across the Single Services to align behind the Digital Targeting Web
- Identifying Accelerators for further development to achieve the Digital Targeting Web
- Reviewing, and amending policies across defence for Targeting
- Defining the DTW reference Architecture
- Aligning exercises and test and experimental activities
- Establishing a DTW test and reference centre
- Inputting and attending NATO and FVEY working groups in relation to Targeting
