Lancaster University Students' Union provides excellent services and opportunities to support and inspire our diverse population of over 16,000 students to make the most of their experiences at university. We are looking for a Sugarhouse Manager as part of a strong and supportive wider team.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the Sugarhouse venue during term time, delivering a minimum of two extremely busy student nights a week, and additional evening and late-night events throughout the year.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service in a high-pressure environment.
- Working flexible schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Performing hands-on operational tasks at the venue.
Qualifications and attributes:
- Previous experience in events or hospitality management is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a high-pressure setting.
- Team player with initiative and positivity.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
