Responsibilities
This essential role will manage all aspects of the chemistry teaching laboratories to ensure the efficient running of Chemistry practical classes, as well as supporting other essential departmental activities such as outreach and engagement activities.
About You / Qualifications
- Good understanding of synthetic chemistry and practical techniques.
- Experience of following and ensuring good laboratory practice and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Competent understanding of chemical safety applicable to an undergraduate teaching environment, with a working knowledge of health and safety and other relevant legislation.
