We are seeking Senior Research Associates to lead their own research project as part of MARS, funded by a £13 million investment from Research England. MARS focuses on dynamical mathematical modelling and artificial intelligence, addressing real‑world challenges across cyber security, engineering, environment and health.
What We’re Looking For
- PhD in mathematics or a related discipline with demonstrable experience using mathematical machine learning, AI methods or applied mathematics to solve challenging problems.
- Ability to propose an innovative, deliverable three‑year research project containing substantial mathematical content, aligned with MARS objectives.
- Willingness to contribute up to 0.2 FTE to industry projects relevant to expertise.
