An opportunity has arisen in the School of Computing & Communications (SCC) to recruit to the role of School Office Assistant. As day to day point of contact, you will be centre of our School Office, working closely with the Departmental Officer and colleagues to provide proactive operational support in all areas of the daily running of the School. This is a fantastic role for someone wanting to learn the many aspects of departmental administration.

SCC is an academic department and international centre of excellence in research and teaching; with approximately 150 academic/research/professional services staff and in excess of 140 research students; the role offers an opportunity to be a key part of the professional services team in the coordination and organisation of a wide range of activity within the School.

Applicants must demonstrate competent IT skills and an ability to work with office systems and processes in order to maintain and prioritise a diverse workload. In addition to this a strong focus on good customer service and commitment to further professional development.
