The Faculty of Science and Technology at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a part-time (0.6FTE) Administrative Assistant, primarily to support the general administrative functions within the Psychology Department. This will primarily include:
- Processing of financial claims
- Supporting Human Resource processes
- Servicing various formal Department committees
- Any other general administration tasks as required
Due to the extension of an existing secondment, this vacancy is available fixed-term until 31 October 2026. If you would like to be considered for the vacancy as a secondment opportunity, please gain your line manager's approval prior to application.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to demonstrate experience of using Microsoft Office software, database and spreadsheet packages
- Be able to work in a team and have a flexible approach
- Have experience of prioritising workload to meet competing deadlines without close supervision
- Be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
