This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced marketing professional to join Lancaster University’s Marketing Team for one year to cover maternity leave. A team player, you should have excellent communications skills, the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and the confidence to work across multiple projects with competing requirements.

Reporting to the Faculty of Science and Technology Communication and Marketing Manager, this role supports the Faculty’s recruitment and marketing plans by creating high-quality digital content, engaging and compelling written content and liaising with our media buying agency to plan and deliver advertising campaigns.

You will lead the development and maintenance of our Faculty website, creating new pages, updating existing pages and ensuring that the content remains of the highest quality and is optimised to meet the evolving needs of the target audience. You will also create subject content for course pages including written copy, videos, photography and rich media. This is a busy role which demands a high level of organisation and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task and to self-motivate. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is essential. The role is offered as hybrid working with a minimum of two days on campus (Wednesday and Thursday).
