The University’s School of Law seeks a 12‑month fixed‑term Lecturer in Law (Core) to deliver teaching across the core undergraduate LLB modules, supervise student research, and contribute to the School’s teaching and scholarship agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core undergraduate LLB modules, contributing to curriculum delivery and assessment.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in teaching and research projects.
  • Take on administrative duties and/or leadership roles as requested by the School.
  • Develop and maintain a programme of personal scholarship, applying it to teaching and leadership activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have substantial knowledge of law and a demonstrated capability for university‑level teaching. A strong academic record and evidence of scholarly activity are essential for the anticipated scholarship component.
