ReStore Lancaster is a Sustainable Retail and Post Office Hub at the heart of Lancaster University campus. The shop supports the University’s commitment to Sustainability, reducing waste, increasing reuse, upcycling and recycling and delivers a range of sustainable products and engagement opportunities. ReStore Lancaster brings together partners such as local charity St John’s Hospice, promoting responsible consumption, and sells a wide range of items including second-hand and vintage clothes and other pre-owned items, upcycled products, zero plastic toiletries and household items, bike accessories, gifts, merchandise and Post Office essentials.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly motivated Retail Manager to lead the ReStore and Post Office team. Working within this small and friendly retail team where everyone looks out for each other, teamwork and the ability to build relationships are key to this Retail Manager role. We are looking for a Retail Manager who will ensure delivery of an excellent retail customer experience bringing creativity and leadership to drive sales and support Lancaster’s sustainable goals whilst providing an essential Post Office Service to staff and students.
