Lancaster Medical School (LMS) seeks to appoint a Medical Education & Training Funding Manager to oversee the relationship between the Medical School and NHS‑England Workforce, Training and Education (NHS‑E WTE). The role holder will manage the payment transfers between the Medical School and a wide range of healthcare partners in which medical student placements take place.

You will work closely with the Head of Lancaster Medical School and other colleagues to ensure an excellent experience for all students enrolled on programmes of study delivered by LMS. You will be a member of the LMS Senior Leadership Team and will work with senior colleagues in LMS and across the Faculty and wider institution, and in partner organisations to progress the objectives of Lancaster Medical School.

The role holder will deliver an excellent service showing abilities to liaise with a wide range of internal and external colleagues and demonstrate great attention to detail in managing large placement payments. As a member of the LMS Senior Team, you will play an active role in the ongoing strategic development of Lancaster Medical School.

This is a 0.8FTE indefinite role and can be worked flexibly to accommodate any care responsibilities.
