The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
The Limestone Pavement Partnership is a project which aims to bring together academics, conservation practitioners and landowners to preserve this threatened habitat by providing evidence to support their management and conservation.
The fundraiser role will work closely with project lead, Professor Carly Stevens, to identify potential funding sources to support the research, engagement and management aspects of the project going forwards. The role holder will assist in preparing applications working with the project lead and the university research support office to ensure that applications are of a high standard. Potential sources of funding are likely to include government, charitable trusts, industry and private donors.
You will also support the activities of the Limestone Pavement Partnership with administrative tasks such as organizing the annual conference, contributing to the writing of the newsletter and web content, and supporting with social media and other duties as required. This role would suit you if you have the interest and ability to build successful working relationships with a diverse range of people. You will have strong communication and collaborative skills, and experience of securing funding from a variety of sources for projects or organisations.
This role is 2 days per week for 12 months.
